Terms of Service
1. Subject
These General Terms of Service govern the commercial relationship between WK Performance (hereinafter the 'Provider') and any client (hereinafter the 'Client') for ECU remapping and automotive preparation services.
2. Services
WK Performance offers the following services:
- Stage 1 — ECU remapping (software only)
- Stage 2 — ECU remapping with hardware upgrades
- E85 / FlexFuel — Bioethanol conversion
- DSG / TCU — Gearbox remapping
- Solutions OFF (track/export use only)
- Pop & Bang — Exhaust crackle map
3. Pricing & Payment
Prices are stated in euros including all taxes. A deposit may be required at the time of booking. The balance is payable on the day of the service. WK Performance reserves the right to modify its prices at any time; any booked service remains at the price confirmed at booking time.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Any cancellation must be communicated at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. In the event of a cancellation with less than 48 hours notice, the deposit may be retained. Rescheduling is possible subject to availability.
5. Client Obligations
The Client acknowledges that ECU remapping may affect the manufacturer's warranty and commits to verifying this before the service. WK Performance shall not be held responsible for any warranty loss. The Client is responsible for obtaining the required hardware upgrades prior to a Stage 2 service.
6. Legal Compliance
Solutions OFF services (DPF, EGR, AdBlue, etc.) are legal only for closed-circuit or export use outside the European Union. The Client is solely responsible for ensuring the legal use of their vehicle. Use on public roads is prohibited by French and European law.
7. Warranty
WK Performance guarantees the quality and proper execution of the remapping service. In the event of a malfunction directly attributable to the remapping, WK Performance commits to correcting it at no additional charge within 30 days of the service. This warranty does not cover pre-existing mechanical faults, abuse, or third-party modifications.
8. Applicable Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before any legal proceedings. Failing that, the dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts.
